<p>PURPOSE:To execute a tracing operation for an optional time by providing a means for making a recording or reproducing means trace the same part on a recording medium, a means for setting optionally the allowable time of the tracing operation, and a means for controlling the tracing operation in accordance with the set time. CONSTITUTION:In a setting circuit 15, plural allowable times of an operation of reproduction of a still picture can be set, and setting is executed by selecting one of them. A counter controlling circuit 16 controls a counter 17 so as to set a count-up value corresponding to a set instruction. When the count-up value is set, and reproduction of a still picture is selected in an operating part 13, and a reproduction start trigger is outputted, running of a tape 1 is stopped, and magnetic heads 3a, 3c trace the same part of the tape 1, by which the reproduction of a still picture is started. The counter 17 starts to count a clock pulse, and when it has reached a set count-up value, a still picture reproduction stoppage trigger is outputted to a still picture reproduction releasing circuit 19.</p> |
