Docking system (1) includes a line end (2) having one form (3) conically tapered in the direction of the liquid stream flow. A docking interface (5) is situated on the docking body and has a second form (6) also in the direction of the liquid stream flow. Both conically tapered forms are adapted to one another such that, in the docked state, they are mutually set apart in a coupling region by an interspace defined by a sealing ring (7) and concentrically oppose one another. First form has a cleaning element (8) to capture liquid that may accumulate in the interspace. An independent claim is included for the method of preventing liquid from being able to continue to flow.
