PURPOSE:To measure in high sensitivity the titled substance in an alkali side, by reacting hydrogen peroxide with a specific color source material or its salt in the presence of peroxidase and measuring absorption of the colored reaction solution in a visible light part. CONSTITUTION:A compound shown by the formula I or its salt is reacted with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of a peroxide and absorption of the colored reaction solution in a visible light part is measured. Y in the formula shows hydrogen or hydroxyl and R1 shows group shown by the formula II. P, Q and Z are hydroxyl, alkyl, etc., n is 0, 1, 2 or 3, R2 and R3 are hydroxyl, amino, etc. The compound shown by the formula I is well-known as an intermediate for dye synthesis and synthesized by condensing Michller's hydrol with a naphthalene derivative or obtained by reducing a dyestuff on the market. |
