<p>A method of and a device for producing a forcetransmitting expansion joint employing a force-transmitting device in the expansion joint in parallel to the main direct tion of the dynamic forces, such as vibration forces, impulsive forces, acting on at least one of a pair of building units between which the expansion joint is provided. The force-transmitting device comprises a force-transmitting element which in turn comprises a member of adjustable length and two movement-transmitting devices at either end of the member.</p> |
