In the case of the DC/DC voltage converter which is described and has potential isolation, the control circuit for controlling the switching-on times of a switching transistor is located on the primary side. The DC/DC voltage converter is given a regressive characteristic in that a control signal is transmitted from the secondary side to the control circuit, via an optocoupler, when the output voltage of the converter falls below a predetermined fraction of its required value. The switching-on times of the switching transistor are shortened using the control signal.
