In a furniture hinge, of which the supporting-wall fastening part designed as a supporting arm (10) can be pushed onto a mounting plate (20) premounted on the supporting wall of the furniture body and is held by a fastening screw (26) which is screwed into the mounting plate in the end region located inside the cupboard and which passes through a slot (24) located in the supporting arm (10) and opening out at its end directed into the cupboard, there is provided a catch device which, when the supporting arm (10) is pushed onto the mounting plate (20), secures the supporting arm (10) against an unintentional pull-back when the fastening screw (26) is loosened only slightly, but allows such a pull-back when the fastening screw (26) is unscrewed to a greater extent. The threaded shank (50) of the fastening screw (26) is longer than the threaded bore (48) receiving it and opening out at a distance above the bearing surface of the mounting plate (20) in the hollow interior of the latter, and the free end of the threaded shank (50) is enlarged in diameter relative to the threaded bore (48), in such a way that the fastening screw (26) can be unscrewed from the mounting plate only until the threaded-shank end (66) of enlarged diameter bears against the mouth of the threaded bore (48). <IMAGE>
