The method involves connecting a downloading tool (7) and logic controllers (6) of same type on a supply and communication network assembly (8), where software of the controllers is modified. A message is transmitted to the controllers by the tool for indicating that a reactivity type downloading process is engaged, and emission of information on the network assembly is inhibited. A downloading file destined to be written in a memory of the controllers is transmitted by the tool. Success of downloading operation is verified by a single reader of reference memory software of each controller. An independent claim is also included for a system for downloading a file in reactivity zone of a logic controller of a motor vehicle using a downloading tool, comprising a connection network.
