Floats for fishing in kit form, the basic element of which is a cylindrical float foot. A line running eye which can be folded up and the hemispherical ends of which form a sphere when they have been folded together, is locked into the float foot and forms with the latter a ball-and-socket joint which can be rotated in all directions and can be disengaged once again for hanging on the fishing line, as required. The side of the float foot opposite the ball-and-socket joint is designed in such a way that a variety of casting weights and float bodies can be placed on it. The float bodies are sealed by means of a cap made of a soft plastic. The cap is simultaneously used to accommodate the float antenna or a bent light.
