The unit consists of a number of individual conventional condensers contained in a metal box fitted with flexible, self-extinguishing material such as polyurethane which completely fills the gaps between the individual condensers and the box itself. This flexible filter material is capable of interior deformation when gases are given off by a condenser, forming a hollow zone around the latter.
