Overhead conveyor consisting basically of a combination of an inverted-T-section guide fixed to telescopic supports; carriages formed by two coupled halves which are able to slide along this guide; a chain which is held, at regular intervals, by the aforesaid carriages; toothed wheels mounted on curved sections of the track, which guide and determine the movement of the carriages along the same; and elements which act on one of said wheels in order to keep the chain constantly under tension.
