Improvements to a folding ladder composed of two right- angled profiled uprights arranged facing each other, whose faces perpendicular to the plane of the ladder carry two longitudinal ribs provided with facing perforations, receiving pivots for the articulation of the treads so that they can be folded up. Three essential points are improved: the support of the ladder on the wall, the electrical system triggering opening-up of the ladder, and the correct location of the ladder-triggering system at the various points of its height where its full opening may be controlled manually or electrically.
