PURPOSE:To facilitate the mounting of a diode by a method wherein a grounding electrode of the microwave pill-type diode is put on a grounding fixture, the grounding fixture is fixed on the base section of the microstrip circuit substrate, then the anode of the diode is soldered on the strip pattern. CONSTITUTION:A grounding fixture 16 with a positioning groove 16a is prepared, and a grounding electrode 1b of the diode 1 is soldered on the groove 16a being positioned. Then, the grounding fixture 16 on which the diode 1 is soldered is fixed on the base section of the microstrip circuit substrate. With this fixing process, the grounding fixture 16 is electrically connected to a substrate mounting base 11 and a backside pattern 12 and grounded, with the anode of the diode set on the strip pattern 14. The mounting of the diode is completed by soldering the anode of the diode 1 on the strip pattern 14.
