PURPOSE:To contrive to elongate the life time of a heater by producing sintered layer of metal powder on the portion of the surface of the core wire to be coated with insulating layer of alumina. CONSTITUTION:Sintered layer of metal powder is produced on the portion of the surface of the core wolfram wire to be coated with insulating layer of alumina to increase the contact area between the core wolfram wire and the insulating layer of alumina coating so as to increase the adhesion strength between the both material. By this it can be made difficult to generate a slip at the boundary of the both material even under the action of heat stress by heating up and cooling down of the heater to prevent the generation of a crack of the alumina coating or a breakdown of the core wire.
