PURPOSE:To assure a safe operation and to prevent the clouding of the cutting surface of a work by providing nozzles between frog pins and blowing gas from the nozzles to a work fixed onto the frog pins so that the flame is blown out when the work is burned by processing heat. CONSTITUTION:The work 15 such as acrylic plate is fixed via the frog pins 2 on a pin holding base 3 provided on X-, Y-tables 4, 5 and is processed by laser light 10 from a processing head 1. The processing of a certain pattern is therefore executed when the tables 4, 5 are moved by an NC control device. The gas for cooling or preventing combustion is blown toward the processing point from the freely extensible and contractable nozzles 8 provided between the pins 2 in order to prevent the emission of the flame from the combustible work 15 such as acrylic plate by the processing heat and the brining about of the dangerous state, by which the flaming up of the work 15 is prevented. |
