PURPOSE:To make the whole of an image pickup camera thin and compact and to reduce a power consumption by providing a light emitting control means of an infrared ray emitting means to emit light for a prescribed time after the visitor operates a push button for the speaking and reproducing a video picked up by the image pickup camera at a doorphone master device side. CONSTITUTION:When the visitor pushes a push button 12 and operates a switch 38, a doorphone unit 35 is actuated to carry out a calling operation and a speaking operation and actuates a timer circuit 29 to emit the light of an infrared ray emitting diode 18. Thereafter, when it is detected that the time set by a time adjusting knob 41 of a doorphone master device side 2 has passed by a timer adjusting part (monitor television) 40 an off signal is fed to the timer circuit 29 and the light emitting condition of the infrared ray emitting diode 18 is stopped.
