PURPOSE:To enable detection of an ascorbic acid over a wide concn. range by using a test specimen formed by immersing a piece of white hygroscopic carrying body into a buffer soln. contg. 2,6-dichlorophenol indophenol alkali metal, methyl orange and cationic surface active agent and drying the same. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed amt. of 2,6-dichlorophenol indophenol alkali metal, methyl orange and cationic surface active agent are dissolved into a buffer soln. A piece of a white hygroscopic carrying body is immersed into such soln. and is then dried to prepare a test specimen. The test specimen is immersed into a sample to be tested and the color formed is observed after about 30sec. The concn. of the ascorbic acid in the sample is thus discriminated. |
