PURPOSE:To prevent the soil of a transfer paper due to toner attachment by installing a guide member energizing the transfer paper to a backup roller side from a heat roller side between a fixing device and a paper discharge roller. CONSTITUTION:After the direction of the transfer paper P is forcibly changed downward by an upper guide plate 18, the paper is held between the upper and lower rollers 17a and 17b of a paper discharge device, and accordingly the paper id discharged in the state where it is slightly inverted upward. Namely, the transfer paper P is moving while it is forcibly bent downward by the left-hand end part 18a of the upper guide plate 18 without fail during transportation, and the paper is energized in the direction away from a heat roller. Thus the end of the transfer paper seldom rubs against the heat roller, and the heat roller and pressure roller can previously prevent the offset phenomenon of a toner T with respect to the heat roller 11 and the transfer of the toner T to the pressure roller 12.
