PURPOSE:To select the size of a beam, make a side lobe value small, and obtain a stable shape by bonding a piezoelectric ceramic oscillator in an inner side of a bottom surface part of a case of truncated cone in section and holding the case by a resilient vibration isorator having a circle hole of a larger diameter than the bottom surface part. CONSTITUTION:An oscillator 3 is bonded to an inner side of a bottom surface part 1 of a case 2 of truncated cone in section and having the bottom surface part 1, and the case 2 is held by a resilient vibration isorator 7 having a circle hole 8 having a larger diameter than the bottom surface part 1 of the case 2 and an acoustic tube 10 is formed by the circle hole 8. The oscillator 3, the case 2 and an output terminal 6 are respectively connected by a lead wire 5. Thereby, the size of an ultrasonic beam can be selected by the diameter of the circle hole and the side lobe value can be made small to obtain a stable beam formation.
