PURPOSE:To accomplish manufacture at a low cost by applying an adhesive coating between the bore of the body of a cylinder-formed construction and the outside surface of a cylindrical inner member, inserting the inner member in the body of the cylindrical member, and by fitting a shaft-shaped fixture of a material having greater coefficient of thermal expansion than the two members into the bore of said inner member, which is followed by heating. CONSTITUTION:A thermohardening resin coating is applied to the bore 1a of an external cylinder 1 as the body of this cylinder-formed construction concerned and to the outside surface 2a of metal 2 as the inner member, and the metal 2 is fitted in the external cylinder 1. A shaft-shaped fixture 7 made of a material having a greater coefficient of thermal expansion than the material for both the external cylinder 1 and metal 2 is fitted in the bore of the metal 2. When the external cylinder 1, metal 2 and fixture 7 are heated, the external cylinder 1 and metal 2 expand, but the shaft- shaped fixture 7 will make a greater expansion to produce a pressurization force in accordance with the difference in thermal expansion between the fixture 7 and the other member 1, 2, which causes pressurization and fixation of the external cylinder 1 with metal 2. This enables manufacture of cylinder-formed constructions at a low cost, which requires a smaller number of parts and use of simpler configuration to involve less man-hours.
