PURPOSE:To scale down and simplify a device by installing an electrostatic charger, an optical image leading part, a developing action part and a cleaning action part disposed on a drum in a periphery lower than a drum center. CONSTITUTION:As a developing unit 8 and a cleaning part are installed downward the drum 5, the capacities of a developer and a discharged toner accommodation can be secured downward without taking spaces in a lateral direction. Accordingly composition factors necessary for drawing one-color image can be disposed without taking spaces in the lateral direction, and the dimensions of a color printer, which transfers a toner image with more than three colors on a recording paper by installing plural said factors, can be greatly reduced. Other effects available from miniaturization can not only make the developing part and electrostatic charging and cleaning parts into units but also make one-color image drawing composition factors including the electrostatic charging, exposing, developing, and transferring parts, an erasure lamp and the cleaning part into units. Thus the device can be scaled down and simplified.
