PURPOSE:To improve mechanical strength by mixing a main material consisting of a specific epoxy resin and specified diamine curing agent and molding the mixture by casting. CONSTITUTION:The diglycidyl ether of bisphenol type A as expressed by formula 1 is used as the main material and the compd. which has amino groups at both terminals, has an alkyl group between the amino groups at both ends, has cyclic structure and is expressed by formula 2 is used as the curing agent. The compounding ratio of the base material and the curing agent is preferably 1.0-1.2 when expressed by the ratio of the amine equiv. of the curing agent with the epoxy equiv. of the main material and the curing temp. is preferably 50-120 deg.C. The curing time is preferably 1.0-2.0hr. The thermal deformation temp. of the resultant product of curing obtainable under the above-mentioned reaction conditions is 80-95 deg.C. The high thermal deformation temp. and excellent mechanical strength are thereby obtd. and the shape collapsion of the frame is prevented.
