<p>PURPOSE:To leave document information before edition by leaving information before edition or proofreading (hereinafter called simply edition), registering only the edited part to a memory at edition, and linking lines before and after the edition with an edition pointer. CONSTITUTION:Lines 1-5 of a document before the edition start from a base pointer 11 and linked by point information 11b-11f representing the next line placed at the head of line blocks 12a-12e. In adding a new line 13 to a line 12b at the edition with insertion, a pointer of the new line 13 on the new line after the edition has head information 14X of block chains 14a-14c, start character position information 14Y of new line blocks 14a-14c after the edition, start character location information 14Y and end character location information 14Z, and head information 12X of the old line block chain 12b before the edition, start character location information 12Y and end character location information 12Z and also head information 12W of the next line 12c not affected to proofreading. The data is diplayed by using the pointers.</p> |
