<p>PURPOSE:To obtain sure timing of paper feed, by arranging a sponge roller made in contact with a sheet-like material, coaxially with a feed roller. CONSTITUTION:A paper sheet fed by a half-moon shape roller 12 as a paper feed roller, is released, at both corners of its leading end, from the engagement with separating pawls by the rigidity of the paper sheet itself, and is fed through a feed path until the leading end of the paper sheet abuts against second paper feed rollers 11a, 11b. At this time, the paper sheet is held in a looped stand-by condition since the leading end of the sheet abuts against the second paper feed rollers 11a, 11b and the trailing end thereof abuts against the half-moon shaped roller 12. Further, since a sponge roller 13 always makes in contact with the paper sheet, it is possible to prevent the paper sheet from returning or advancing. Accordingly, there is no fear of shifting the timing of paper feed by the second paper feed rollers 11a, 11b.</p> |
