<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to constantly feed hot water of a predetermined temperature and to prevent unnecessary hot water from being left standing for a long period of time thereby to reduce thermal loss due to spontaneous heat radiation, by detecting the inputs from the user, the temperature of feed water to a hot water storage tank, and the amount and temperature of remaining hot water, and calculating the necessary amount of hot water from these data to store hot water. CONSTITUTION:A time switch 7 is turned ON, and power from a power source 6 is supplied. Next, hot water amount setting means 19 and respective temperature sensors 15 and 16 detect hot water amount set values Ti deg.C and Vi, a feed water temperature Tw deg.C and a remaining hot water temperature Tz deg.C, and the remaining water amount Vu is detected. Based on these detected values, computing means 20 calculates a circulating quantity Qo, a power supply required time Hz, and a power supply starting time Hs. When the power supply starting time has passed, a pump 13 is controlled so that the circulating amount in a circulating path 12 becomes equal to Qo, and power supply to a heating unit 2 and the pump 13 is started. After the lapse of the time Hs from a time the time switch 7 is turned ON, power supply is started. When the power supply time for the time Ho could be secured, the power supply is stopped.</p> |
