PURPOSE:To provide the titled core-sheath conjugate fiber having specific core ratio, exhibiting excellent dyeability under atmospheric pressure dyeing, giving a dyed product having high color fastness to light, and having high yarn strength, by constituting the core component and the sheath component with specific respective copolymerized polyester compositions. CONSTITUTION:The core component of the objective fiber is a polyester copolymerized with 1.0-1.8mol% isophthalic acid component containing metal sulfonate group (component S) and 5-20mol% dicarboxylic acid component. The sheath component contains 0.1-5wt% inert inorganic fine powder (e.g. alkyl-coated silica) having an average primary particle diameter of <=100mmu and is composed of a polyester copolymerized with 2.1-6.5mol% component S (based on the whole aid component of the polyester), 5-20mol% dicarboxylic acid and 1.0-15wt% glycol component. The core ratio is selected to satisfy the formula [S1 and S2 are copolymerized ratio (mol%) of the component S in the core component and the sheath component; A1 is copolymerized ratio (mol%) of dicarboxylic acid in the core component]. |
