This razor, comprising a head 2 supporting a cutting blade 4 extending with the head transversely to a short handle, is characterised in that its handle 6 has a hollow body 7 ending in a cylindrical end-piece 8 having an axial bore capable of being fitted without play on the tubular end 17 of the valve of a reserve of shaving lather, having an opening by axial displacement, this reserve consisting of a leaktight capsule 14, known per se, containing the lather and a pressurised gas, the axial bore of the cylindrical end- piece being extended by a thin tube 11, in which flows the lather supplied by the capsule through the valve, this thin tube opening out on the top of the handle in the vicinity of the head, the flow rate of the lather being adjusted, as required, by the user actuating the valve of the capsule by means of an axial stress applied to the handle or to the head of the razor. <IMAGE>
