PURPOSE:To suppress the generation of a Barkhausen noise, the fluctuations of the reproduction output, the deterioration of the high-frequency characteristics and so forth in a soft magnetic thin film core and to lessen the attenuation of the signal magnetic flux, which is caused by an increase of the magnetic reluctance by a method wherein plural grooves to orthogonally intersect to the direction of the signal magnetic flux, which passes the first soft magnetic film, ar provided in at least one surface of the second soft magnetic film. CONSTITUTION:The roughened patterns of grooves 5 are transferred on a second soft magnetic film 4 to be laminated on a non-magnetic thin film 3. The interval between a first soft magnetic film 2 and the second soft magnetic film 4, that is, the film thickness of the non-magnetic thin film 3, is selected within an extent that the first and second soft magnetic films 2 and 4 can be magneto-statically coupled together. For example, a thickness of 100Angstrom or several mum or thereabouts the suitable for the film thickness. Moreover, the thickness of the second magnetic film 4 is decided according to the thickness of the first soft magnetic film 2 and the saturation magneti zation. A soft magnetic thin film core 6 is made in sucn a way that by roughnesses is formed in the second soft magnetic film 4 by utilizing the numerous grooves 5 to be formed in the non-magnetic thin film 3, yet can be made in such a way that the numerous grooves are directly formed in the second soft magnetic film 4.
