TREATMENT OF RESIDUAL PIG AND RESIDUAL SLAG IN SPOUT OR THE LIKE FOR BLAST FURNACE

PURPOSE:To easily and quickly treat the residual pig and residual slag in a spout in hot state by incorporating granular ore into the residual pig and residual slag and agitating the same to form the mixture stuck with ore on the surfaces of the residual pig and residual slag. CONSTITUTION:Water is sprayed 7 to the inside of the spout 1 to decrease the atmosphere temp. in the spout 1 to about the extent at which the residual pig and residual slag 2 in the spout 1 do not solidify. A bucket 4 attached to the front end of a spout material disassemblying machine 3 is then put into the spout 1 and the residual pig and residual slag 2 are stuck to the entire surface of the bucket 4; thereafter the water is sprayed 7 to the surface of the bucket 4 to cool the bucket and to coat the inside surface thereof with the residual pig and residual slag 2. The sandy ore 5 is thereafter put into the residual pig and residual slag in the spout 1 and is agitated by the bucket 4 to provide the mixture 6 stuck with the sandy ore on the surfaces of the residual pig and residual slag. Such mixture 6 is scooped by the bucket 4.
