PURPOSE:To offer the manufacturing methods for a coil, by which the working process thereof can be simplified, by a method wherein the terminal material to be made by forming a pair of terminal parts in one body is mounted on the terminal bed and after the starting ends and terminations of the electrical wires are connected, the terminal material is parted into two and a pair of terminals are formed. CONSTITUTION:The bent parts of the L shapes of parts 1a and 1b, which are used as the terminals, are provided with press-fitting pieces 1d and 1e; which are pressed into press-fitting ports 2d and 2d to be provided on the flange part 2a of a coil frame 2, which is used as the terminal bed, and are used for mounting the above-mentioned terminal parts 1a and 1b on the flange part 2a; and the other ends of the L shapes are used as connection parts 1f and 1g, whereto the starting end and termination of an electrical wire 2 are connected. A terminal material 1 in such a configuration is mounted on the flange part 2a of the coil frame 2 and the starting end and termination of an electrical wire 3, which is wound around the drum part 2c of this coil frame 2, are connected to the connection parts 1f and 1g. Lastly, a coupling material 1c is cut out, the residual parts thereof are used as the terminals 1a and 1b and the coil is manufactured.
