PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform a fine adjustment of the position of the piston of a fluid pressure cylinder by inserting a control piston being possible to shift minutely into a control piston engaging hole which leads to inside of the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A control piston engaging hole 4 is formed in the end wall of a fluid pressure cylinder 2 and in this engaging hole 4 is inserted a trace quantity control piston 5. The trace quantity control piston 5 has a thread bar 6 and on this thread bar 6 are fitted a turn-stop key 14 and a female screw member 8 for driving. When the trace quantity control piston 5 is forced to move in the axis direction by rotating the female screw member 8 with a driving device 7, a fluid volume in the cylinder 2 can be changed apparently and the position of the piston 3 of the fluid pressure cylinder 2 can be adjusted minutely.
