PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of a clutch by lessening the urging force of a clutch spring for pressing a pressure plate when back torque is applied to the clutch. CONSTITUTION:When back torque is applied, a cam member 19 is moved to the right according to the shape of a cam surface 20a, so that a sleeve 9 is moved to the right through a needle bearing 22 and a flange 11 against the elastic force of a thrust washer 12. Thus, the distance from the bottom wall 15a of a recess portion 15 to a washer 16 fixed to the sleeve 9 becomes longer than the fixing length in the ordinary clutch engagement state. Accordingly, the pressure force of a pressure plate 14 produced by the elastic urging force of a clutch spring 17, that is, the capacity of the clutch can be reduced.
