PURPOSE:To shorten the transmission period of a data signal to each ST and to make an encoding and a decoding processes easy by assigning the control object system of a key telephone set (ST) by an index data and regulating the type of individual control data in such a way that the encoding is performed for numerous control items and a process by bit for a few items. CONSTITUTION:Each of a CPUm 21 and a CPUs 22 is equipped with a RAM 23, a fixed memory ROM 24 and the same internal memories and performs a data process by the operation of a stored program system which carries out a program stored at above memories and performs a control with accessing required data at the internal memories and a RAM 25. Therefore, the CPUm 21, with corresponding to an operating data based upon the detecting output of an RDT 13 and each ST, performs an exchange connection by the control of a DRV 14 and that of TRS 11 through a TRC 15 and also, through the CPUs 22 and a DRS 12, transmits the control data to each ST in order and repeatedly and performs the control for the display light, display device and the display by singing of each ST and a call.
