<p>PURPOSE:To record even a reservation time which exceeds the time of the rest of a tape by switching automatically a recording speed mode from a short- time mode to a long-time mode at proper timing. CONSTITUTION:The reservation time set in a reservation time setting means 3 is converted into a voltage by using a converting means 4. The integral time obtained by integrating the time length of recording from the reservation by an integrating means 5 is converted into a voltage by a converting means 6. Then, a difference voltage generating means 7 subtracts the voltage from the converting means 6 out of the voltage from the converting means 6 to obtain the 3rd voltage. Then, the 2nd voltage obtained by converting the time required to record the remaining tape in the long-time mode into a voltage is compared by a comparing means 8 with the 3rd voltage and when the difference reaches zero or a predetermined value, the comparing means 8 generates an output signal. A recording speed mode switching means 9 switches the recording speed mode from the short-time mode to the long-time mode by using the output signal of the comparing means 8.</p> |
