PURPOSE:To obtain a color picture tube where discharge or stray emission due to fine powder of inner conductive film is reduced by improving the adhesion strength of inner conductive film formed on the inner face of neck thereby considerably suppressing damage due to sliding of conducting metal chip. CONSTITUTION:A portion of inner conductive film conduit 3' has the end section associated with a brush 4 which is parallel with the axis of conduit at the side connected with a motor 6 and bent to be eccentric with the axis of conduit. Consequently, the contracting pressure between the brush 4 and the inner face of neck 1 will increase when compared with conventional one. Upon rotation of inner conductive film conduit 3' through the motor 6, inner conductive film liquid filled in the inner conductive film conduit is delivered from the brush 4. The delivered liquid is pushed strongly against the inner face of neck 1 by means of the brush 4 resulting in an inner conductive film 5 having desired adhesion force and thickness.
