PURPOSE:To drive wheels with the state that it is difficult to receive the effect of driving load fluctuation of the wheels by carrying out the transmission of a driving force to a pair of right and left running gears through clutches and mechanical type transmission gears for advancing and retreating, respectively. CONSTITUTION:Clutches 16L and 16R comprise tension pulleys 21a and 21b which stretch and relax a belt for advancing and retreating and a belt for retreating, and tension arms which rotatably support the tension pulleys about a shaft core of a transverse direction of a vehicle body. Further, the clutches comprise a spring 23 which biases the tension arms in the direction, in which direction the belts become to the non-transmission state against the respective input shafts of the transmission portion. A mechanical type transmission gear for advancing and a mechanical type transmission gear for retreating are constituted by a belt transmission mechanism from a counter shaft to the transmission portion and a gear transmission constituent of the transmission portion, and they can be selectively switched by the clutch 16.
