<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the coincidence between an actual shift amount and the detected value of said shift amount by increasing the revolving force to be applied to a ball extruded over the bottom plate of a housing in response to the shift of a position information input device. CONSTITUTION:A position information input device 11 consists of a housing 13, a bottom plate 13a, balls 14a-14d, a spherical body 16, etc. The body 16 and the plate 13a are made of a magnetic substance and either one of them is magnetized so that the force against reception of the reaction to lift the spherical body 16 is produced by the magnetic force of the device 11 and an operating panel 12, therefore the body 16 is pressed onto the plate 12 when the device 11 is put on the panel 12. The internal diameter of a round hole 15 is made smaller than the outer diameter of the body 16 to prevent the useless drop-out of the body 16. Then rolls 17a-17d are set so that the straight line connecting the centers of said rolls and the center of the body 16 is parallel with the upper surface of the panel 12.</p> |
