PURPOSE:To obtain a stable picture quality having a less tendency for an image flow by laminating each specific an electric charge blocking layer, an electric charge transfer layer, an electric charge generating layer, an intermediate layer and a surface reforming layer in order on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive body 39 is laminated the P<+> type electric charge blocking layer 44 composed of a-Si:H which is heavily doped with an element belonging to the group IIIa of the periodic table of the element, and contains one of the atoms of C, N, and O, and the electric charge transfer layer 42 composed of a-Si:H which is made an intrinsic, by lightly doping it with an element belonging to the group IIIa of the periodic table of the element, and contains an atom N in order on the drum shaped conductive substrate 41 composed of Al.
