PURPOSE:To enable an operator to easily observe display, by mounting a means for holding the display in a freely detachable and rotatable manner. CONSTITUTION:When a display 2 is mounted to the main body of a typewriter, a tonge piece 16 is pressed inwardly by a finger in such a state that a lid 33 is opened and the rotary hinge 17 is engaged with the hinge hole 32 of a display mount part 31. Thereafter, when the finger is separated from the tonge piece 16 to release pressing, the tongue piece 16 is restored to press a cork rubber sheet 18 to the side wall of the display mount part 31 and friction is generated between the rubber sheet 18 and the side wall to stop the display 2 in that state. When the typewriter 2 is used in this state, the lid 33 is opened to set a state capable of looking the display 2 while the display 2 is rotated to an easily abservable position generating no reflection of illumination. Next, when the display 2 is used in a state not mounted to the main body of the typewriter, said display is fixed to a book stand 40 by the clip 20 thereof. |
