PURPOSE:To receive a satellite broadcast by a television receiver by using a frequency conversion signal to convert a reception signal from a satellite broadcast reception converter into a frequency possible for FM demodulation, using an FM demodulator to demodulate the signal into a signal possible for television reception and giving an output. CONSTITUTION:A signal is amplified by a high frequency amplifier 9 and inputted to a mixer 10. A channel selection signal from a channel selection signal generating circuit 11 is inputted to the mixer 10, a signal from the amplifier 9 is converted into the signal of prescribed frequency possible for FM demodulation and its signal is given to an intermediate frequency amplifier 12. A signal only to a channel corresponding to a channel selection signal is selected among signals from the amplifier 9, the signal is amplified by the amplifier section and outputted. THe signal is demodulated by an FM demodulator 13. The demodulated signal is amplified by an amplifier 14 and the video signal included in the amplified signal passes through a de-emphasis circuit 15 and reaches a modulator 17 through a clamp circuit 16.
