PURPOSE:To make it possible to prepare a composite material continuously and reason ably by using one molding machine, by press-molding a surface skin material to a form close to the final form of a product by using a top force, by vacuum-molding it along the shape of the hollow form of the mold and by pouring a molding material between the vacuum-molded surface skin material and the top force. CONSTITUTION:As holding shafts 5, 5 receiving the elasticity of springs 6, 6 press a surface skin material to the upper surface of a mold die 1, the surface skin material T is pressed under a stretched condition by a top force 4. Evacuating action is affected between the surface skin material T and the cavity 2 through an evacuating path 7 by operating a compressor 10, and the surface skin material T is thereby vacuum- molding along the inner wall of the cavity 2. The raw material R is poured through a pouring path 8 from an injection tank 11 into a space 4A between the surface skin material T and the top force 4 produced by the vacuum-molding. The top force 4 is separated by elevating a elevating/descending plate 3 and the cavity 2 is then separated. A product in which the surface of the poured raw material R is covered with such a surface skin material T as a leather, a film or so on, i.e., a composite material can be prepd. |
