PURPOSE:To prevent needless page turning from being carried out, by providing a stopping signal generating means for sending a copy form feed stopping signal to a copy form feed controlling means in response to a page matching command displaying signal and a copy form feed stopping controlling signal. CONSTITUTION:When a page matching command (a) is supplied to a page matching command displaying signal generating means 2, a page matching command displaying signal is generated. Even if a number of line is set on a line number counter of a page length controlling means 3 at that moment so as to generate a form feeding in a copy form feed controlling means 1, the form-feeding operation is inhibited by the copy form feed stopping signal generated by the stopping signal generating means 5 in response to the page matching command displaying signal and the copy form feed stopping controlling signal generated by a controlling signal generating means 4. Accordingly, the copy form is not fed beyond the next page, and useless copy form feeding can be prevented from occurring.
