PURPOSE:To improve the high-speed operation performance by constituting the nozzle shaft of a fuel injection nozzle so as to be driven by the operation of an electromagnetic plunger and an auxiliary oil plunger arranged on the same axis line to the electromagnetic shaft. CONSTITUTION:The body metal fitting 5 of an electromagnetic plunger formed by winding a coil 7 onto the outer periphery is formed so as to form a tapered inner hole, and a plunger 6 formed to the shape similar to the tapered inner hole is set oppositely. A nozzle shaft 22 for opening and closing the injection hole of a nozzle cap 2 is formed integrally with the plunger 6, and urged in the closing direction by a spring 8 which can vary the valve opening pressure by an adjusting screw 10. An auxiliary oil plunger 13 is installed onto the nozzle shaft 22, and urged by a spring 12 whose one edge is supported by a spring receiving metal fitting 11 fitted onto the shaft 22. Further, a case 15 in which an oil relief plunger 16 is accommodated is installed onto one side of a nozzle case body 1.
