PURPOSE:To prolong the pot life of a composition comprising an epoxy resin and an amine and having excellent adhesion to polyester resin without detriment to its adhesiveness and curing time, by adding thereto dimethylformamide. CONSTITUTION:The purpose composition of good adhesion to polyester resin is obtained by mixing an epoxy resin with an amine (e.g., dimethylamine), dimethylformamide and necessary solvents, additives, etc. This composition can be used for a paint, an adhesive or the like. By mixing this resin with a resin difficult to bond to a polyester resin, it is possible to give thereto bondability to polyester resin. In addition, it is excellent also as an undercoating agent for a paint comprising another resin difficult to bond to polyester resin.
