<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently collect suspended fine particles in a gas with the title collector by providing plural electrode strips at intervals on one surface of a strip of a porous dielectric material and laminating a set of the strips, impressing a high voltage on the electrodes and passing the gas through the strips. CONSTITUTION:Plural electrode strips 3-6 are provided at intervals at least on one surface of strips 1 and 2 of a porous dielectric material in the widthwise direction of the strips. A set of such strips 1 and 2 is laminated, a high voltage is impressed on the electrodes to form a strong electric field in the strips and a gas is passed through the strips. Consequently, the collection of fine particles having about 0.1 mu diameter which has been considered hereto fore to be difficult to collect can be performed with extremely high efficiency of >=70%.</p> |
