PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. which has excellent storage stability, curability and resistance to weather and corrosion and allows light-colored finishing to be conducted by single coating, consisting of a cationic vinyl compolymer, a fully etherified amino resin a a sulfonic acid compd. CONSTITUTION:An amine is added to a copolymer obtd. by copolymerizing a glycidyl group-contg. vinyl monomer [e.g. glycidyl (meth)acrylate] and a copolymerizable vinyl monomer [e.g. methyl (meth) acrylate] nonreactive with the glycidyl group, thus obtaining a cationic vinyl copolymer (A) having an amine value of 20-100 and contg. OH groups. 40-80pts.wt. component A, 10$0pts.wt. fully etherified amino resin (B) obtd. by modifying a (CO) condensate of urea, benzoguanamine, etc. and formaldehyde with a modifier such as a 1-8C alcohol and 3-20pts.wt. sulfonic acid compd. (C) obtd. by blocking a sulfonic acid compd. such as xylenesulfonic acid with a bisphenol A type epichlorohydrin type epoxy resin are blended together.
