PURPOSE:To easily manufacture a pitcher and to improve the robustness of a product by spinning a vessel body formed by pressing to form a long cylindrical body and to integrally project a thick-walled belt-like part to the mouth edge. CONSTITUTION:A plate stock formed of a metallic material such as stainless steel is subjected to press forming and the cylindrical body 3 having a bottom plate 2 is obtd. The body 3 is then subjected to spinning to form the long cylindrical body 5 and to form a vessel body 8 integrally projected with the thick- walled belt-like part 7 to the mouth edge 6 of the body 5. Such body is then subjected to bulge forming to form the broad bottom part widened with the bottom plate 2. Various attachments necessary for the pitcher are attached thereto to obtain the product. The mouth edge 6 is integrally projected in the above-mentioned manner, by which the conventional welded construction is improved and the product is made more inexpensive and robust.
