PURPOSE:To prevent a medium at an improper position or an improper part of the medium from being printed and disused by checking whether the medium extracted from an issuing section is of desired kind or not or has improper attitude or not. CONSTITUTION:Media 10a, 10b... stored in stackers 12a, 12b... are, e.g., ordinary deposit bankbooks or time deposit bankbooks, a magnetic stripe of a medium delivered off by a feeding roller 14 according to input data is read by a reader/ writer 22 and when a read output is obtained, it is discriminated that the medium attitude is correct, read data is compared with medium kind data designated by the input data. When they are coincident, the medium is fed to print sections 16, 18, where a prescribed print is applied, the medium is returned again to the magnetic reader/writer 22, magnetic data is written on the magnetic stripe of the medium and the medium is fed to a medium issuing outlet 24. When dissident, as the absence of read data, the medium is fed to a medium fetch section 20 and a medium is issued again from an issuing section 26. |
