PURPOSE:To enable intuitional estimation of the effect of relaxation time on an image, by arranging an NMR to obtain an image with a logarithmic conversion at each pixel while a plurality of images corresponding to the relaxation time by scanning. CONSTITUTION:An NMR mechanism 10 is operated to obtain an echo signal at each view. Then, the signal is passed through an RF phase detector 11 and digitalized with an A/D converter 12 to be stored into a data memory 13. An echo signal is obtained over the entire view by the same time sequence to reconstruct an image with an arithmetic unit 14. The image is stored temporarily into a buffer memory 15. About the image, an image data is converted with an arithmetic unit 14 logarithmically at each pixel and stored into an image memory 16 to be displayed 17 properly. This enables the reflection of the effect of the relaxation time T1 and T2 attenuated expotentially on a linear scale with time on the image, thereby achieving an image contrast by the T1 and T2 accentuation with an intuitional determination of the relaxation times in the interest area. |
