发明名称 URINE SUGAR MEASURING APPARATUS
摘要 PURPOSE:To achieve a higher reliability in the measurement of urine sugar, by assaying a factor affecting the urine sugar measurement in the measurement of urine sugar depending on the quantity of light received from a urine sugar test paper which has reacted with urine after immersed thereinto to inform of a deviation thereof from the normal range. CONSTITUTION:A urine sugar test paper 12, ascorbic acid test paper 13 and a pH test paper 14 are affixed to a stick 11. Light is projected to the test papers 12, 13 and 14 from a light emitting element (LED) 16, the reflection of coloring by a color reaction of the test papers is received with light receiving elements 17a, 17b and 17c. Current for the quantity of light received is inputted into a CPU through a current- voltage converter 20 and an A/D converter 21. Signals are read out respectively for the quantity of light received with none of the test paper 12 immersed into urine and that with the test papers 12, 13 and 14 immersed thereinto. At this point, the ascorbic acid hampering the urine sugar measurement and the pH value are determined to inform of a deviation from the normal range. This enables the measurement of urine sugar with a high reliability to prevent the incidence of pseudo-negativity as informing that the factor affecting the urine sugar reaction is deviated from the normal range.
