PURPOSE:To detect the simultaneous operation of two switches by providing switches which are connected in parallel to >=1 optional resistance to division resistances connected in series between a reference voltage for generating a voltage to be compared and the ground. CONSTITUTION:When a switch SW1 is closed, the voltage Vo to be compared is held at the ground level, so outputs OUT1-OUT13 of a comparator 2 are all held at a power source level. When a switch SW2 is closed, the voltage V0 to be compared becomes as high as a voltage obtained by dividing the reference voltage Vref through resistances R1 and R2 and only the output OUT1 of the comparator 2 varies to the power source level. When a switch SW4 is closed independently, none of the outputs OUT1-OUT13 of the comparator 2 appears and the outputs OUT1-OUT4 vary to the power source level, which is detected.
